A newly revamped hotel in Maui needed a new name and brand identity that would encompass its luxurious accommodations. Additionally, Hawaii itself – its culture and traditions – became an important component in the brand story. After coming up with the new name Kohea Kai, we were able to design the perfect logo- incorporating the indigenous Hibiscus flower that Hawaii is so known for. The vibrant blues in this radiant color palette are a nod to it's waterfront location and the typography sets the perfect tone for a relaxing tropical vacation. In all, we developed a complete brand story that Kohea Kai will use to help welcome visitors and complete their island experience.
