Hello,
I'm Gerald Cornelius Brown Jr.
Lead Graphic Artist and Creator
of this Design Studio. I am
always gaining a new nick name
and it has become part almost a
tradition, so to speak.

I'm Known as: Brown, Kornball, G-Man, John Coffee,
Grown Ass Man, Black Man, Black Magic, and
Darknesses.
I was born in 1981, In Buffalo New York. Around the
age of 2, my mom left my dad and moved my brother
(Julius) and I to New Bern North Carolina. Here I
learned to be a real country boy, work in the fields,
drive tractors, eat collard greens and climb trees. I
spent my most memorable years at West Craven High
School. During that time I got a job at Wal-Mart and
on my free time I painted murals on walls and doors
for co-workers. It was one of the first times that I got
paid for something that I created. It was a thrill that
to this day, I still enjoy.
I have painted, sketched, and designed since age 4. I
had a unique introduction into the art world. My mom
would get tired of constantly spanking me for things I
(supposedly) did. One day she decided to create a
new cruel punishment that was creative and sly. She
would take one of my most favorite hobbies and make
it my new punishment. Many summer afternoons you
could find me in a corner on punishment with a pencil
in hand and notepaper drawing. I spent hours
drawing Woody Woodpecker, Daffy Duck, circles, or
airplanes. My hands would sometimes go numb from
holding that damn pencil for so long.
"Thanks mom for loving me enough to see the
wisdom in preparing me for my future and punishing
me with a gift. I realize now that this was my training,
and in a way it made me a better artist."
I stayed in North Cac-A-Lac until 19. I then joined the
United States Air Force. I experienced the "War for
Oil" while pulling 6 months in that wonderful desert
sandbox call Iraq. It was a real eye opener for this
country boy. Many of the things we take for granted
everyday; friends, water, oil, home, family, and life
itself, could be taken from you so easy. I lost a lot of
great friends in the last 8 years due to this "War for
Oil," and understand that war will never be the
answer to our problems. "It is love, that conquers evil
and hate." To all my fellow brothers and sisters in
Ammo, "IYAAYAS!!!!!"
